About the Fighting Beavers...

The Ottawa Fighting Beavers joined the PAFL in the league's third season.

The team was formerly known as the Minnesota Fats. As the Fats they struggled to a 5-11 record in part because the previous owner could not devote the attention necessary to run a PAFL franchise.

When Captain Canuck determined that a beacon of hope was necessary for his beloved country (especially following another dismal showing at the Olympics) he quickly acted to acquire the Fats. Moving them to the nation's capital, he renamed them the Fighting Beavers and has vowed to turn a bunch of unmotivated slack-asses into a well-oiled football machine that his country could be proud of.

More information can be found on the PAFL website, for which the address is provided on the Links page.

But Seriously...

The PAFL is a football simulation, run using Sierra's Football Pro '98. Very little else on this site, or on any site having to do with the PAFL, is meant to be taken seriously.
